We have been on a long journey dedicated towards providing Australians with Tasmanian grown Atlantic salmon that has been responsibly grown.
It is important to us that our actions and processes are certified by independent third-party certifications, there are a range of third-party certification bodies that monitor marine health and the environment in which we operate such as Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP). Our sustainability journey, partnerships with environmental organisations, such as WWF Australia, have also been pivotal towards leading sustainable aquaculture production. Tassal remains committed to continuous improvement in sustainability, creating best practice environmentally-responsible standards.
All our harvested salmon have been independently assessed and certified by either ASC or BAP so our consumers can be confident that the Tassal Salmon they are eating has been raised by an environmentally and socially responsible company.
