Ultimate Tasmanian Experience
Two of Tasmania’s best-known companies, bakery and café chain Banjo’s and salmon producer Tassal, have joined forces to promote a new salmon product range and their home state of Tasmania at the same time.
Banjo’s has introduced a range of fresh salmon sandwiches, Panini and quiches featuring Tassal salmon.
The new products will be available in all Banjo’s stories in Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
“We believe Banjo’s and Tassal sit perfectly alongside one another as quality producers of fine Tasmanian products,” Dale Williams, Chief of Sales & Marketing for Tassal said.
“It makes sense for Tasmanian-owned companies like ours to work together in this way to not only promote our products but the state more broadly.”
To mark the launch of the new partnership, a competition will run from 12 October to 15 November giving Banjo’s customers the opportunity to win the ‘Ultimate Tasmanian Experience’.
All Banjo’s customers who purchase a Tasmanian Hartz mineral water or Tassal Tasmanian salmon product will enter the draw to win a year’s supply of Banjo’s bread, Hartz Mineral Water and Tassal salmon products.
A prize of two nights accommodation at Strahan Village, including breakfast and tickets on the West Coast Wilderness Railway, two nights accommodation at Cradle Mountain Chateu including breakfast and entry to the Wilderness Gallery and one night at Freycinet Lodge including breakfast courtesy of Federal Group Hotels will also be given away as part of the promotion.
“At Tassal we are committed to producing delicious, healthy Tasmanian salmon,” Dale said, “We obviously want our product in as many outlets as possible. Banjo’s is proving that our products suit the quick serve restaurant model.”
Stacey Pennicott, Banjo’s Marketing Manager, said “We believe that Banjo’s is the ideal brand for Tassal to work alongside to promote the Tasmanian salmon experience.”
Tassal employs nearly 700 people, is the largest aquaculture company in Australia and is a public company listed on the ASX.
The company is also a fully integrated producer of premium quality Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon, operating hatcheries, marine farms, processing facilities, value-adding plant and a sales and marketing division for Australian and international markets.
Banjo’s is an Australian company providing great wholesome comfort food and customer service within a warm, authentic Tasmanian inspired environment.
