FAQs
The program runs for 6 weeks and includes 30 days of training (255 hours), with on-water skills, offsite ticket training, and site visits. The program is based across our Tasmanian Farming Operations.
You’ll cover fish health, biosecurity, sustainability, vessel and machinery operations, WHS inductions, and more. You’ll also gain practical skills like crane operations, rope tying, and fish-pen rigging.
You’ll start a Certificate III in Aquaculture (completed over 18 months), attain a Coxswain’s ticket, and a DMLA (Deck Machinery and Lifting Appliances) ticket.
Yes! You earn while you learn.
No experience or tickets are required. We’re looking for people with the right attitude and enthusiasm to succeed.
You must commit to 18 months of employment, have full work rights, and be available for full-time hours.
You’ll join our marine operations crew as a full-time permanent employee and continue working toward your Certificate III in Aquaculture.
